EXT. BANK PARKING LOT DAY

From a normal mid afternoon workday we focus on the drive up teller area, then a particular car,  we see Mark in a luxury automobile with expensive suit and tie, haircut, stuffing 5 to 7 checks into the teller tube and close the lid after throwing the pen in with it. We hear the bank automated vacuum carrier as Mark close the window, adjust the radio and the air conditioner then sits back and as the classical music plays awhile and then  SWOOSH…..stop! Mark is seen rolling down the window, he removes the container turning the lid and dumping the 10 one hundred dollar bills into a leather folder on the passenger seat which contains about ten times as much cash.  As he is returning the containers we hear: “Thank you Mr.Ingold, have a nice day”

Mark

You wanna blow me later?

Speaker

Excuse me?

Mark

I said I gotta go will see ya later

EXT. BANK PARKING LOT. DAY

We see Mark pulling out of the drive thru at a high rate of speed with the top coming down and the stereo blasting tunes, into traffic, burns rubber and halls ass out of sight.

INT. AUTOMOBILE. DAY

From inside the luxury automobile we see Mark now cruising down the interstate, the suns going down he acrosses the Biloxi Mississippi back Bay Bridge and the entire southern view of the Gulf Coast and casino strips, comes into view. Mark checks his watch and the rear view mirror. (OLD MAN, Neil Young, Live at Mosey Hall-19-11 Soundtrack)

EXT.  DOWNTOWN CARMEL, CA. DAY.

We pan what passes for a busy downtown intersection, we come to a rest just as a new luxury car door opens a hip dressed Mark appears with expensive shades, he locks the door, adjust his leather folder under his arm and turns up the sidewalk and then a flight of stairs and into the largest bank on the far corner. From inside the largest bank lobby you even seen, at the far end the bright sunshine, contrasted with the hushed, marble floors we zoom in from nearly three fourths of the huge bank. Mark enters and walks a third of the way in and stops at a writing island and begins filling out something while never once looking right nor left. Totally absorbed on himself and his affairs. He  grabs a small brochure and heads for the tellers. The place is almost empty and Mark passes in front of a teller window with two pretty young Mexican-American girls are side by side smiling at Mark, having just finished doing something.

MARK

Hi, Wow, is it nice in here….it’s just so big.

From over Marks shoulder facing the girls we see mark slide five checks onto the counter top.

MARK

Let me make sure I signed all of these

(pause)

Teller

You want 1000 dollars back is that right Mr. MR. BALLS?

MARK

Yes

TELLER

May I see some ID please?

MARK

I am sorry, I don’t have it, I left it in my office…isn’t there something else you can check?

TELLER

Yes, let me see….

Mark busies himself making a notation on his legal pad in the ledger.

TELLER

Mr.Balls, the account was opened in 1953, how old are you..

Without a beat, Mark leans in the window to the two girls.

MARK

My wife is quite a bit older than I am….

They both smile and start counting out cash at the counter….

INT. BANK LOBBYY. DAY

Metairie, Louisiana busy commercial area, mid week, old white private security guard with huge side arm,        looks around nervously. MARK is seen coming into the bank, all the teller lines are two to four people and MARK joins in line behind an old lady. The camera behind MARK sees over his shoulder behind the counter. The far wall is mostly glass looking out into the drive up teller area. Mark is seen sliding five or six checks, out of his leather ledger onto the counter with a deposit slip already made out. The old woman only glances at them.

Teller

You want 1000 dollars cash back?

MARK

TELLER

May I see you ID?

MARK

I’m sorry, I left it in my office, isn’t there something you can check?

The teller is seen going to a table with a huge green ledgers in and flips thru a paper or two and comes right back.
